Buy/Sell Used Books with Katipunan

Welcome to the KATIPUNAN BOOK EXCHANGE (KBE).

This is a book exchange program run by the Katipunan Academic Chairperson which allows you to buy and/or sell used books within the Katipunan community. You can utilize this direct connection program between buyers and sellers to acquire a more reasonable price than is found in other book "buy-back" and resale programs.

If you are interested in purchasing used books, please feel free to browse the database using the links above. You may contact the seller directly if you are interested in buying his/her book(s) listed here (click on sellers' name to access contact information). The prices listed next to each book is the sellers' suggested price, and can be assumed negotiable unless otherwise stated by the seller. Before purchasing any books, you should check with your course instructor about which specific books you need to buy, and pay attention to the edition numbers on items, such as textbooks.

                                How to be a KBE seller...

If you wish to sell your books through the Katipunan Book Exchange, simply send the following information to the Katipunan Academic email at katipunan_academic@yahoo.com with the subject heading as "Katipunan Book Exchange" or just KBE:

        note: you only need to provide one way for a buyer to contact you
  • Book(s) Information
    • author(s) name
    • book title
    • edition (if any)
    • your suggested price
    • the course in which the book was used in
Please allow at least a few days (at most a week) for your books to be uploaded onto the website. Note that the more books you submit, the longer the time it might take for the books to be uploaded. Once your books are uploaded, however, they are there until you notify me that your book has been sold. Weekly updates will be conducted up until the fourth week of the quarter. Please check the database to see if the information is correct. If you find any error in your listing, notify me ASAP through the Katipunan Academic email (katipunan_academic@yahoo.com). I will do my best to keep this site updated with new information.

Disclaimer: Author names, book titles, and edition numbers are based off of the sellers' submissions. Contact the specific seller to make sure the information found on this website is what you are looking for. Different courses may use different books from those listed under each course. Please consult your instructor for the specific author, title, and edition of the book you wish to acquire for your specific course before any purchase.
